This your case is quite complicated because of the bank saying they can’t find your name. Even if the account was dormant for a very long time, your name and account number supposed to be in the bank database.
Honestly I’m thinking if it was indeed zenith bank you opened the account, and how you opened the account with them. Or probably you didn’t complete the account opening.
If I were you, I will first dial the lost phone number to see if it has been assigned to another person. If the network haven’t done that, I will head over to the network center of the lost sim card, explain the situation to them that I really need to have the sim because of this, though it wasn’t registered with my name.
Even if it will cost me some bucks of money, I will pay. And if you’re very young I will advise you to go with someone that is matured to make things look very serious and not a child’s play. I’m sure the network provider will help you out cause I have seen it happen before, though the person had to first given them a good hand shake behind the closed door.

First, is your mum late?
You should have requested the bvn from your mum.
Second, if you lost the phone number then you have to go to the network service to retrieve the lost phone.
Third, the reason why the bank didn’t give you the bvn is because they have seen the account details didn’t match your information.
Fourth, I believe the account is your mum and not yours because even a kids savings account will bear the name of the child and not it’s parents. The only thing is that the parents or guardian will be in control of the bank account.
