- The student must be between 16 to 25 years of age
These are the requirements needed from an individual to open a uba student account. Also, you can open the account with or without bank verification number (bvn).
If you opened the student account with uba bank, you will be asked to enroll for a bvn in order to make transactions like withdrawal, transfer, bill payments etc using your uba student account.
If you’re okay with the maximum amount for uba student account, you should go ahead and open a savings account with the bank. There are two ways to open a student account with uba, one is by going to the bank, while the other is through online.
Note I recommend you to open a uba student account if the bank is inside your school or within your school premises. If there’s no uba around or within your school premises, please kindly ignore opening a bank account unless you want to do so.

To open uba student account by going to the bank, kindly go along with the mentioned requirements. Don’t bother if you don’t have a bank verification number (bvn) as the bank will later enroll you for it.

For the signature part, sign a signature using any of the apps for android or iphone, save the signature and upload it to the space provided for it. After you’re done and everything is correct, tick to sign the indemnity form. If you want to open an internet account, also tick the box.
As you’re done, tap on the submit button.
Within 24hrs, the bank will send your bank account number to the phone number used in opening the account. If you don’t have a bank verification number, immediately enroll for it and it must be done right inside the bank.
