Again Christians schools and offices, including private individuals don't observe it at all, they do operate on this very day. 

8. Independence day 

Who doesn't know about the independence day in Nigeria being a major holiday. Everywhere is locked down, both government and private, schools, offices including our network providers don't operate on the independence day celebration. 

9. Id el Maulud

10. Christmas and boxing day

Christmas day isn't fixed like Easter which is on Sundays, Christmas can fall on weekdays which will be a general public holiday for every sector in Nigeria. Then the next day which is 26th December is all another public holiday that allows effect both private and government sectors.

On the boxing day, banks don't operate till 27th of December, but again know that on 1st January, they don't operate at all.
